Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

frontkiosk (the "service") is operated by MONAD INDUSTRIES SOFTWARE CORP. ("we", "us"). These terms apply to anyone who creates an account, buys a plan, redeems a code or uses the frontkiosk dashboard, kiosk or API. The business that creates the account is the "customer" or "you". People who sign in at your kiosk are "visitors".

By creating an account, buying a plan or redeeming a code, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use frontkiosk for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for that business.

2. What frontkiosk does

frontkiosk lets visitors sign in on a private kiosk link opened in a web browser on a tablet or computer. Depending on how you set up each location, it can record visitor details, show a visitor policy or NDA to accept and sign, take a photo, print a badge with a QR sign-out code, email the host, send a webhook to a URL you choose, list who is on site, print an evacuation list and export your visitor log as CSV.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Each organization's data is kept separate from other organizations.
• Tell us right away at frontkioskeur@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Plans and payment

• Lifetime: $250 USD, paid once, for 1 location. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate frontkiosk, and it includes future updates to the Lifetime plan's features.
• Monthly: $29 USD per location per month, billed monthly until you cancel. You can change the number of locations or cancel in the billing portal. If you cancel, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
• Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• If a monthly payment fails and is not fixed, the kiosk can be paused until payment goes through.
• We may change prices for the future. A change never affects a Lifetime plan you already bought, and we will tell Monthly customers by email before a new price applies to them.
• Earlier plans that are no longer sold keep working for the customers who bought them.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. In short: a Lifetime plan bought on frontkiosk.net can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; Monthly can be cancelled any time, without refunds for partial months; deal-platform purchases follow the platform's policy. A refund ends access: the plan it paid for ends right away and your kiosks stop accepting sign-ins.

5. Codes from deal platforms

Codes bought on a deal platform (for example RocketHub, AppSumo or Prime Club) are redeemed at frontkiosk.net/redeem.

• A code gives the Lifetime plan with the number of locations of its tier (Tier 1: 1 location, Tier 2: 3 locations, Tier 3: 10 locations), with the same features as the Lifetime plan.
• Each code works once. Only one code can be used per organization, and codes cannot be combined.
• Codes cannot be resold or transferred after they are redeemed.
• If the platform refunds your purchase, or reports the code as invalid, we revoke the code and the Lifetime access it gave is removed. Your account and your data stay; you can choose a regular plan to keep using the kiosk.
• The deal platform's own terms also apply to your purchase there.

6. Your data and your visitors

• You own the data your office puts into frontkiosk, including your visitor log. We use it only to run the service for you, as explained in our Privacy Policy. We never sell it.
• You decide what your kiosk asks for (for example email, phone, photo or a signed policy). You are responsible for having a lawful reason to collect it and for telling your visitors, for example with a notice at your front desk or in your visitor policy text.
• If you add a webhook URL, frontkiosk sends visitor details to that address. You are responsible for that destination.
• You can export your visitor log as CSV at any time from the dashboard.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use frontkiosk to break the law, collect data you aren't allowed to collect, send spam, try to get into other customers' data, overload or attack the service, or copy or resell the service. We may suspend an account that does these things. Where we can, we will warn you first.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep frontkiosk available and to fix problems quickly, but the service is provided "as is" and we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We keep improving the product, and features can change. If we ever have to stop operating frontkiosk, we will give at least 60 days' notice by email so you can export your data.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost data you could have exported), and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for frontkiosk in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

frontkiosk is a sign-in and visitor-log tool. It is not a security system, an emergency alert system or a replacement for your own safety procedures.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using frontkiosk at any time and ask us to close your account and delete its data by emailing us. We may close an account that breaks these terms. After an account is closed, we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell account owners by email before the change takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Montréal, Quebec have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.
