Paper visitor log

Replace the paper visitor log at your front desk

A clipboard can’t tell a host their guest arrived, can’t read a name back to you, and doesn’t hold up in an audit. Switching takes three steps and about fifteen minutes.

What a clipboard can’t do

Replace it in three steps

  1. Get a tablet and a stand. An inexpensive tablet (around $100) works, and so does an iPad or an old laptop you already have. Add a stand so it sits at eye level by the door.
  2. Open the kiosk link. Create your frontkiosk account, add your location, and open its private kiosk link in the browser. Add it to the home screen. That’s the whole install.
  3. Print a “Please sign in here” poster. Put it where the clipboard used to be. Our QR check-in poster maker makes one in a minute.

Keep the old binder for a week if it helps people adjust, then file it away with your records.

What it costs

frontkiosk is a paid product: $29 per location per month, cancel any time. Or pay once: $250 lifetime for one location. Add the tablet and stand, and a badge printer if you want printed badges.

Still weighing paper against a paid kiosk? Free visitor management vs. a $250 lifetime kiosk covers when a clipboard is genuinely enough. Staying on paper for now? Use our printable sign-in sheet, which keeps earlier names private.
